It&#8217;s to use it better.<\/p><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The news has been full of advice today telling us to&#8230; well&#8230; <strong>water our plants.<\/strong><\/p><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Groundbreaking.<\/p><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">It&#8217;s a little like reminding people to breathe.<\/p><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">But beneath the obvious headlines lies some genuinely useful advice. If you&#8217;ve recently planted a new border, invested in a bespoke planting plan or transformed your garden, these first few weeks really do matter.<\/p><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The good news? You don&#8217;t need gallons of water. You just need a little common sense.<\/p><h2>Your Plants Don&#8217;t Need a Daily Shower<\/h2><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Imagine being handed a thimble of water every hour. You&#8217;d survive, but you probably wouldn&#8217;t fancy running a marathon.<\/p><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Plants are much the same.<\/p><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">A quick splash every evening only wets the top inch of soil.
